Main Article Content

that the population does not know and gives little nutritional value to watercress (Nasturtium Officinale), it is a plant that contains many nutritional and medicinal properties. According to the WHO, anemia is a serious public health problem worldwide, affecting mostly children and pregnant women, which is why the city of Pampas is no stranger to this serious disease. One of the great benefits that watercress (Nasturtium Officinale) has is to counteract the different types of anemia, for this reason this research will place greater emphasis on the treatment of types of anemia through the consumption of watercress (Nasturtium Officinale) and how this can help eliminate these problems that plague families. On the other hand, watercress is a plant species that grows wild in all seasons of the year; on slopes of rivers, streams, irrigation canals.
